  We visited this place a couple of weeks ago and we were deeply disappointed not only with how much this place has been changed but also with the poor customer service we were given. First of all, the gold panning section in Cornwall Gold was closed way too early, so we decided to give our son a chance to pick a pearl at least, but when we got there, there was only one employee working on the floor and she was busy talking to a couple who were making a purchase at the counter. Obviously, we had to wait around until the woman finishes, but when she did, she then decided to move onto the 'pick a pearl' section where we were waiting for a while, and give the couple she'd been talking to a chance first, even though she knew we were waiting around for ages to be served. Never mind the fact that she ignored us the whole time we were waiting, but when she told us that she would let the other couple pick a pearl first and make us wait AGAIN was I think just over the line. Cornwall Pearl used to be one of my favourite places to visit but now there's nothing to look at and enjoy and it's merely a pearl jewellery store with poor service now. What a shame.
